Greetings!
Today, I worked with some of you to create a patch that fixed several issues, cleaned up some loot tables, and hopefully increased your potential enjoyment all-around. I’ll keep working on tightening things up (especially loot) over the coming weeks with small patches, but my primary focus for the next (however long it takes) is finally catching us up with SWGEMU code and receiving all of the latest updates an features. This is exciting, but will require quite a bit of focus. I’ve done it before, and I have plenty of experienced help on reserve in staff. We’ll be proceeding along the roadmap, after that. Treasure maps (essentially), Jedi, GCW, JTL are still the big points. Also planning many more skill and weapon/armor system updates and fixes along the way.
Additionally, you may have already noted the Ewok invasions, marking the onset of ‘Love Day,’ the time of year when we defend our cities against horrifying winged abominations and loot interesting decorative objects. This year, I’ve added several new objects discovered by Sininen. Look forward to invasions of NPC and player cities for the rest of the month!
I’m doing my best to get back on track, after some recent setbacks. I have been learning as much as I can to improve my abilities here, and I’m very excited to try to bring us some more features and systems, especially alongside JTL, that will make this game infintely more replayable and fun! To help facilitate that, I want to finally and completely separate myself from Discord duties and moderation. Our Discord is the domain of Sammies, Sininen, and any other staff members who choose to take the responsibility, but I’m out. I check in on patch days and for crash coverage and such when necessary, and I’ll still maintain the bots and commit feeds. We run a separate staff Discord, so there is no loss in communication. I just want to keep doing my work, for you all. My domain is our repository and our servers. I’ll usually see Discord PMs on patch days, but if you have something urgent that another staff member can’t handle – I can be reached here.
